Best Wishes to Nick

Nick Hoffman, director and curator of the Elkhart County Historical Museum, announced a few days ago he is leaving to accept a position with a museum in Wisconsin. Although it’s great he accepted a position in line with his passion, we will undoubtedly miss him. In the time he has been director at the museum in Bristol, the museum has made remarkable progress. It has become a place well worth paying a visit to. I wish you the best, Nick, in the future and have enjoyed working with you in a professional manner over the last few years.

About historynut11

My name is Tim Ashley and I am a newspaper editor/reporter/photographer in Milford, Indiana, and live in nearby Goshen, Indiana. A deeply held and sincere passion of mine is history and learning from the past. I enjoy a wide variety of history topics, but particularly local history, noted American highways (Lincoln Highway and Route 66), railroad history and the Civil War. I believe we can learn much from the past and that past shapes who we are today. I also enjoy visiting museums and historical sites, as well as taking photos of remnants from the past still standing.
